This is such a creative and enjoyable book that all readers can appreciate. Even as an adult I giggle at the silly antics. The author is able to bring to life through the eyes of a child. Each page features demonstrative illustrations that are sure to keep a child’s interest time and time again.  

This book is incredible! Our three year old grandson loves it because he can finish the rhymes while enjoying the story. He loves hearing about the goats’ playing adventures and is very proud when he recognizes words and remembers the rhymes. He loves the beautiful illustrations and laughs every time we read the story. When we’ve read the book to his ten month old sister, she’s also loved it— even learning to say goat! Love this book and look forward to more from the author!

We have so enjoyed reading Silly Silly Goats over and over. This book is perfect for my two & a half year old granddaughter. The story is perfectly entertaining and the illustrations are so captivating. I would highly recommend this book for children even up to 6 or 7 years old. 

As a former school librarian, I am a sucker for children’s books. This delightful story particularly spoke to me, as I think goats are both charming and funny. These four gals are based on the author’s own goats and in this lively book, they have a steady stream of fantastical adventures… goats climbing trees, eating ice cream cones and going swimming among other escapades. It’s a full day that ends with bedtime. The storyline is cheerful and uplifting and the illustrations are excellent in supporting and extending the story. It’s a read-aloud for any time of day (especially bedtime) and it provides lots of teachable moments as well– vocabulary, prediction, fact vs. fiction, and recall for example. If I were still teaching, I would pair the book with a YouTube video of goats and help the children craft their own continuation book about other things goats might do! I will be on the lookout for more adventures from these four, silly ladies!

I spent over 20 years as an early childhood educator and administrator and 7 years as a medical/business administrator. This book will keep children captivated and the characters should definitely be reoccurring in future Silly Silly Goat books! The story brings joy, and an escape, which is welcomed by anyone facing health issues, especially cancer warriors!

This book is so cute, the rhymes are great and the pictures are adorable! I'm showing it to all my teacher friends! 

Silly, Silly Goats is a playful book with joyful illustrations.  It is written in a fun, rhythmic pattern with hilarious illustrations that makes my daughter laugh every time!  I even bought one for my granddaughter.  Goats are such interesting, loving pets and you can definitely see it demonstrated in this book!
